Methods to reduce the wear of the machine

For our decoiler machine in use and operation for a long time, it is inevitable to encounter some wear phenomenon, which needs our attention. 1. The sleeve roller chain of the decoiler machine is composed of the outer chain plate, the inner chain plate, the pin shaft and the roller. The identification between the inner chain plate and the sleeve, the outer chain plate and the pin shaft is fastened with interference fit.

2. There is a clearance fit between the sleeve and the pin, which can be rotated freely to conform to the flexion and extension of the chain when it enters and joins the sprocket.

3. Since the wear of the chain occurs mainly between the pin and the sleeve, a large amount of gap should be left between the inner and outer chain plates to allow the smooth sleeve to penetrate into it.

4. The interval between the adjacent two pin shafts of the decoiler machine is called pitch, which is the parameter of the chain. Its size indirectly reflects the carrying capacity of the chain. If the load is large, the large-pitch double-row chain or multi-row chain can reduce the size, but the more the number of rows, the greater the unevenness of the load of each row. So in general it should not exceed 3 or 4 rows.

In the operation of the decoiler machine, wear is inevitable. According to the above methods, the wear rate can be controlled within the bearing range during operation. Under the condition of normal wear, the damage degree of the machine can be greatly reduced.
