Before use, the adjustment of the feed rail should be strictly in accordance with the debugging requirements of the air duct forming machine equipment, and the feed rail should be adjusted to the specified position and size and then fixed.
If the actual position of the feed rail is smaller than the specified position size, the lock seam will not be formed; if it is larger than the specified size, the lock seam size will be out of tolerance due to the feed being too wide, causing the two plates to be unable to bite or waste material; if the feed rail is severely skewed, it is prone to misalignment defects with uneven width of the lock seam.
The thickness of the air duct forming machine bite plate should be within the specified range of various specifications. If it is less than the minimum thickness, defects such as cracks and wrinkles are likely to occur when biting; if it is greater than the maximum thickness, the thickness of the plate is proportional to the square. The obvious increase in bending force causes abnormal damage to the forming rollers, overload of the transmission system, and failures such as stuffy cars.
The processing capacity of the lock forming machine is designed for processing ordinary steel plates. The commonly used ordinary thin steel plates, galvanized thin steel plates and plastic composite steel plates all have good lock forming properties.
The strength of the stainless steel plate is higher than that of the ordinary steel plate. Before using the stainless steel plate for lock forming, the forming test must be done first to avoid overloading of the air duct forming machine equipment, causing excessive wear or mechanical accidents. Due to the poor plasticity of the aluminum plate, it is easy to crack when the lock seam is formed, and the forming test must be performed before construction. At the same time, because the aluminum plate lacks elasticity, the aluminum plate air duct cannot be snap-type lock forming.
The minimum length of the plate lock forming section of the duct forming machine should not be less than 300mm, otherwise the horizontal resistance of the lock forming is greater than the friction force of the forward plate due to too little contact between the plate and the forming roller at the same time. The sheet slips between the forming rollers and accelerates the wear of the forming part of the rollers.
