Any dirt on the torch and wearing parts will seriously affect the function of the plasma system. When replacing the wearing parts, place them on a clean flannel, check the connecting threads of the cutting torch frequently, and clean the electrode contact surface and nozzles with hydrogen peroxide.

2. Electrode nozzle of duct plasma cutting machine

When air or oxygen is used as the plasma gas of duct plasma cutting machine, the oxide will be deposited in the nozzle. This oxide will affect the cutting airflow and reduce the life of the wearing parts. Wipe the inside of the nozzle with a clean flannel to eliminate oxides.

3. Protective cover of duct plasma cutting machine

The slag on the torch protective cover should be removed frequently, otherwise, this slag will cause a destructive "heavy plasma arc". In addition, it is best to apply splash-proof chemical paint on the protective cover, which will help reduce the accumulation of slag on the protective cover. But be sure to remove the protective cover from the torch before applying splash-proof paint.
